Holiday Parties
Hello bloggers =)
I haven't blogged in a few weeks, but when you hear how many Holiday parties I have attended. Lets see here figuring it all out. I have gone to four Christmas partys in the past week, and have 3 more to attend before the 28th of this month. But I am proud to say that even with all the Christmas parties I was able to loose one pound:) not much but like my boyfriend said "One pound at a time" *sigh* I love him!
Well I am going to cut this blog a short one, ill update after Christmas.
So I want to wish everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS oh and if I dont say it before then, and A very HAPPY New Year!!

Not Just Feeling It, Seeing It.
Not only am I seeing the weight loss on the scale but I am starting to feel the impact that my life style change is making! I am happier, feeling better, dont feel as bloated and my pants are fitting me much better :).
Today was the only day so far sense I have started this that I haven't done some kind of workout activity. Tomorrow me and misty are going dancing and that is a really good workout!
I am really grateful for my boss at work, she actually attends weight watcher meetings and she is getting the weight watcher starter kit for me:):) It comes with a book for when you go out to eat and how many points everything is. a calculator to figure out how many points a food product is and a 3 month journal to track my progress:):) cant wait to receive it!
Other news, I had a great conversation with an old friend this morning on the phone. We have planned a girls weekend right before new years eve:) I am super excited. I sure do miss her.
I keep seeing the commercial for "dance" for the wii, i really want it! It looks like it would be really fun for working out with at home on raining days :)
Ellie is 5 months old today!!! Our baby puppy is getting so big:)
I have 5 Christmas partys to attend in the next few weeks<3 I love the holidays! I will be sad when it all ends!
I sent out my Christmas Cards yesterday so the close family and friends should be receiving theirs shortly:)

Week 1 Complete!
So:)
Week one is complete! I just weighed myself and I have lost 4.5 lbs my first week on doing weight watchers. Yey! I was really discouraged at the beginning of the week that it wasn't going to work, but it did! I better not get that use to it because I wont loose that much every week, anywhere from 1-2 lbs a week is what I will loose, but it will add up :)

Day 6:
Dec 8th 2010:
I got inspired from another blog on here, she had done goals for herself for each month. I thought that was such a great idea because they smaller goals but yet long term. So here are my monthly goals.
December: To just have weight watchers down, I would it to be apart of my life.
January: to have lost 15 lbs by the end of the month.
February: to walk into a store to buy a new dress, size 14 for my fire fighter banquet:)
Heres a start of my goals, March, April & May soon to come!

Day 5: goodbye for good!
Dec 7th 2010:
I am jumping for joy right now and I feel like I am on cloud 9!
First of all my new favorite snack is frozen sugar free chocolate pudding. DELISH!:) & its only 2 points:) Its helpful that its slow to eat because its frozen as well.
I find eating with the points so much easier vs. counting actual calories!
Also I have been more and more active during the day! I have been trying to run, dance, take my dog for a walk or even cleaning our bathroom floor on my hands and knees:)
To top everything off, at the beginning of this life style change I was getting discouraged because I didnt think it was going to work and felt like it wasnt working at all. Well I weighed myself and for this week I have lost 3.5 lbs:):):):):)

Started out pretty quiet but kinda disappointed in myself in the end.
Me & my boyfriends family went to the Oregon Zoo Lights in Portland, we had a blast.
Now when it comes to my point tracking I did horrible.
I am aloud 30 points for the day. And ended the day with 34 points.
I am learning the points system so I should put myself down that much & we did go to a fast food restaurant when we went to Portland, but when eating there my mind was in "life changing" mood so I thought about what I thought would be healthier for me. Unfortunately after coming home, got online and looked up the cals and ect on what I eat it was 14 points for a Chicken Bowl that I had.
Any suggestions on when eating out?

Snack: Chicken & Cucumbers
Dinner: Salad
Snack: Chicken & Salsa.
Hopefully during my road to success I will have lots of encouragement from family, friends and people on here.
